Samsung Galaxy S3 users have every reason to smile. With the Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 update in place for Galaxy S3, we are hearing that Samsung is gunning for releasing the latest Android 4.2 update for Galaxy S3 by mid-January next year.
Replying to a query posted by a fan on the availability of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update, Samsung Mobile on their German Facebook page replied that after the completion of the Android 4.1.2 update worldwide by the end of this year, the roll-out of the next version of update, Android 4.2 will commence.
The latest version brings a host of simple and smart features like gesture typing keyboard, Photo Sphere camera, customizable tablet for enabling multiple sharing among others that promise to make your experience more fluid and immersive.
However we don't have to wait too long to taste the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with LG Nexus 4 expected to arrive in India by November-end. Powered by a quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon processor and Android 4.2 OS, Nexus 4 boasts of very impressive specs and with the latest iteration on board - make its rival Androids look outdated.
Based on LG’s flagship device, Optimus G, the device will come fitted with a 4.7-inch 1280 x 768 display and two cameras - an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Backed by a 2100mAh battery, the device will also pack in a 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.
